You might as well know right now: I’m probably not going to get as much done today as I should.

Why is that, you may ask?

Well, in a little while (or right now, in your time), I will have published a column (this column, actually) on EerdWord under my own name, with my own lovely banner up top and my own little picture down at the bottom.

After my column goes live, if history is any indicator, I will spend much more of my day than is good for me staring at this:

I love writing. I really do.
