At the Zoo

We went to a zoo today.  It’s a small zoo.  The animals there are not exotic.  They’re animals from the area—-a pumba, a black bear, a wolverine, turtles, snakes, butterflies, eagles, ravens, wolves, etc.  The zoo charged one dollar per person.  Because the zoo was pretty small, it only took us an hour-and-a-half to see it, so we were not exhausted.

It was fun.  A turtle tried to get in front of my Mom’s husband’s camera—-maybe because the turtle wanted his picture taken (I know, that’s anthropomorphism).  The pumba was pretty calm, until a loud group of people came.  Then, the pumba hissed.  My Mom says the pumba was scared of the large baby carriage.  Then there was a wolverine, who was running around with something in his mouth.  At first, I thought it was a piece of wood.  But it could have been a bone of some animal.

That’s all I’m in the mood to write right now!  Hope you had a pleasant Labor Day.
